Founded in 1974, by CEO Bruce Herren, Doctor's Ambulance Service, with headquarters in Laguna Hills, celebrates over 31 years of providing award winning medical transportation in Orange County.

Bruce founded Doctor's Ambulance in the City of Tustin in 1974 to meet the need of emergency transportation in Orange County.  Several years after Bruce started Doctor’s he was joined by his father Asa.  The two together brought over 30 years previous medical transport experience to the community.  As cities grew, so did Doctor's.  Bruce always kept the philosophy to not be the biggest ambulance company in the County, but be the best in transportation.  His focus has always been a steady and managible growth.  Bruce states, “This is why Doctor's is so successful, take care of the patient, never forget them, keep it simple, and everything will fall into place.”

The service excellence of Doctor's Ambulance has also been recognized with the award of accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS).  This accreditation is recognized nationwide as a pinnacle of achievement for emergency medical transport.  Mr. Osburn states: "Nationwide, less that 200 ambulance providers have successfully passed the rigorous review standards required for CAAS accreditation.”  Doctor's Ambulance is proud to be 1 of only 10 companies in the State of California with this accolade.
